Trish George is entering her fifth full year as head women’s and men’s swim coach at Wells College. George served as interim head coach of both Express teams in 2006-2007 from late December to the close of the campaign. She also served as assistant coach of the Express in the 2005-06 season.
Both the Express teams entered the NEAC in 2009. The
men’s team earned 1st place at championships as
well as becoming the first team at Wells to earn the championship
trophy. The women’s team earned 2nd place. Last
season the men’s team placed 2nd while
breaking 11 records and the women’s team placed
3rd while breaking a 20 year old record at NEAC
championships.
Prior to Wells College, George swam collegiately at SUNY Cortland where she served as team captain her senior season and was part of the 800 yard freestyle relay team that set the school record. She earned a Bachelor of Science in Physical Education K-12.
George resides with her husband, Dave and child Lucas in Locke, NY
